Dear Members,
The Board has prepared the April Member Newsletter for you. Please pay special attention to the election of the 16th director. We hope that members who are willing to serve the folks can register for the election of directors, join the happy group of directors to jointly promote the conference affairs and prepare various activities. At the same time, pay attention to the arrangement of the Annual General Meeting of members, and hope to get your active support and participation, so that the meeting can be carried out smoothly and the proposal can be passed.

本會自1992年成立至今已屆30週年，從創刊號開始，一直堅持逢五的週年誌慶出版紀念特刊。自去年2月發出同鄉會將出版30週年紀念特刊信息以來，得到會員、鄉親及商戶的廣泛支持，惠賜賀詞及廣告贊助30週年紀念特刊印刷經費。現特刊已順利出版，並在春節聯歡宴會上派發。現傳上以下連接，敬請瀏覽本會30週年紀念特刊。

Dear Members, folks and Friends,
Since its inaugural issue 30 years ago, our Association has been insisting on publishing a commemorative special issue on every fifth anniversary. Since the proposal of the 30th anniversary souvenir publication of the Association in February last year, it has received extensive support from members, folks and merchants, giving congratulatory messages and advertising sponsorship for the printing of the 30th anniversary special issue. All generous donors of our Association have sponsored a wealth of lucky draw gifts, table prizes, lucky money and funds for the Spring Festival Banquet, so as to share the happiness with you and add joy to the New Year! There is also dancing of two wake-up lions that night to help celebrate. I cordially invite you to sign up and join us.
We will take adequate epidemic prevention measures in accordance with the requirements of the provincial government; participants must also wear masks and have vaccine cards to ensure that everyone is safe and healthy, and enjoy the festive gathering.

The Board of Directors sent you the December Newsletter, announcing the schedule of activities, and reporting on the latest conference work.
The Board is now preparing for the 2022 Spring Banquet to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Association and the scholarship award ceremony and respect for the elderly members. The Spring Banquet for the Year of the Tiger will be held on March 3 next year. I hope you will actively sign up to participate, and generously sponsor the banquet funds and lucky draw gifts, so that this grand event will be held ceremoniously and everyone will get together cheerfully.

Hello everyone! As the outbreak of the new coronavirus pneumonia continues, it has brought serious impacts and difficulties to everyone’s work and life. On behalf of all directors on the board, I would like to extend cordial greetings to all members and folks! I hope that you will adhere to the epidemic prevention measures and survive the epidemic safely.
The board of directors has prepared the September Newsletter to report to you the work of the conference in recent months.
We arranged for the 2020 and 2021 Annual General Meeting to be held on Sunday, October 17th, and visit our new clubhouse after the general meeting. Hope you all participate enthusiastically. For details, please refer to the attached September Newsletter.

On August 23, Tung Koon Benevolent (Canada) Association successfully moved from the old clubhouse at 567 EAST HASTING STREET to the new clubhouse at 2530 EAST HASTINGS STREET. Please click on the above link to share with you the situation of the relocation day of our Clubhouse.
We hope that the renovation of the new clubhouse can be completed as soon as possible, and that the pandemic restraint order can be lifted as soon as possible too. We can hold various activities in the new clubhouse and have our happy time again.

各位會員，鄉親：
近年來會所周圍的環節變得很差，理事會投放了很大的人力物力資源，去應付墻壁的塗鴉，遭鄰居抛棄到停車場及屋頂的垃圾和傢俬，遭破壞的前門後閘等等。理事會經過詳細的分析，廣泛的討論，嚴肅的議決，以破斧沉舟的決心，決定將原會所賣出，另購新會所，將我們精力和資源投放在擴展會務上。我們順利將原會所於2021年6月28日賣出，並於2021年8月9日成功購入新會所。現在我們進行裝修，佈置，搬遷等等的工作。新會所給予我們更好的周遭環境，更大的活動空間，更舒適的活動聚會。在逆境中求變，我們變得更加團結，變得更加堅强。有關搬遷啟事，請查看附件。

Dear members, folks:
In recent years, the links around the clubhouse have become very poor. The Board has invested a lot of human and material resources to deal with graffiti on the walls, garbage and furniture abandoned by neighbors in the parking lot and roof, damaged front door and back gate, and so on. After detailed analysis, extensive discussions, and serious resolutions, the board of directors decided to sell the original clubhouse and purchase a new clubhouse. Our energy and resources are devoted to the expansion of conference affairs. We successfully sold the original clubhouse on June 28, 2021, and successfully purchased the new clubhouse on August 9, 2021. Now we are working on renovation, layout, relocation and so on. The new clubhouse gives us a better surrounding environment, larger space for activities, and more comfortable gatherings. We become more united and stronger when we seek change in adversity.
